CID commence Investigations on Prisoners using luxurious items within Prison Premises

Criminal Investigation Department (CID) commenced investigations on two suspects of drug dealing having access to use luxurious items within the Negombo Prison.

It was revealed during raids conducted recently in prisons around the country that some prisoners had access to several luxury items including a microwave oven and refrigerator within prison premises in some instances.
