A complaint has been filed at the Criminal Investigations Departmnet (CID) against Samagi Jana Balawegaya MP Nalin Bandara.
Police Spokesman, Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Ajith Rohana said the complaint was filed by State Intelligence Services Director Major General Suresh Sallay today.
In his complaint, Major General Sallay has accused MP Bandara of making a public statement linking him to the 2019 Easter Sunday terror attacks.
DIG Ajith Rohana said a special team headed by an Assistant Inspector General of Police (ASP) is conducting investigations into the matter. (NewsWire)
