Parliamentarians Johnston Fernando and Rohitha Abeygunawardena have been appointed as members of the Committee on Parliamentary Business.
The Speaker of Parliament Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena informed the Parliament today that the two MPs were nominated by the Committee of Selection to serve in the Committee on Parliamentary Business.
He further said that the nominations were made in terms of the provisions of the Standing Order 115 of Parliament and the motion agreed to by Parliament on 20th January 2022. (NewsWire)
