The construction of the National Nephrology Hospital in Polonnaruwa has been completed with the assistance of China.
Former President Maithripala Sirisena said the National Kidney Hospital was built at a cost of Rs. 12 billion and is a gift from the Government of China.
Sirisena said on the gift which was promised during his visit to China in 2015, and is now ready to be handed over to the Government of Sri Lanka.
The hospital is well equipped with five Operating theatres with modern technical equipment and two Intensive Care Units (ICU). (NewsWire)
