President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has contacted Samagi Jana Balawegaya MP Budhdhika Pathirane with regard to his allegations of malpractice with respect to the Government to affix tax stamps on imported and locally manufactured alcohol products.
MP Pathirane told reporters that the President had contacted him over a telephone call and had inquired in this regard.
Stating that he had refused to divulge information via the phone call, the SJB MP further had informed the President that he will provide a detailed document to him in this regard. (NewsWire)
