A 46-days-old baby has died with Covid-19, Lady Ridgeway Hospital for Children said.
The baby is the 2nd youngest to die with the disease in Sri Lanka.
On December 8th a 20 days old baby died with Covid-19 in the same hospital.
The hospital, said the victim tested positive for Covid and the cause of death was determined as pneumothorax with Covid.
The body of the victim was cremated at Borella Cemetery this evening. (NewsWire)
