136 COVID-related deaths have been reported, increasing the total Covid death toll to 11,567.
Covid deaths have seen a slight decline in the last few days from the daily average of 200 deaths per day reported in the last few weeks.
- September 13th : 136 deaths
- September 12th : 135 deaths
- September 11th : 144 deaths
Meanwhile 2,473 COVID-19 cases detected in Sri Lanka thus far today bringing the total number of cases to 491,000 & active infection count to nearly 67,739.
