Covid19 patients in Sri Lanka has increased to 630 patients with 11 patients identified so far today.
Number of patients under medical care has increased to 487.
Main hospital which treats patients IDH Colombo is now full with patients according health authorities.
“Our capacity is full now, We can normally accommodate 120 patients but now we have 150.” Physician Dr. Ananda Wijewickrama of the National Institute of Infectious Diseases (NIID) said
He said around 25 patients who have almost recovered but still not got their final reports will be be sent to an another hospital shortly to make sure IDH hospital can treat patients who need more attention.
