An Ukrainian tourist couple who were stranded in the island with their 2 1/2 years old daughter due to the pandemic during their vacation in Sri Lanka, have shared a video on social media, thanking their hosts for hosting them continuously for free since they visited the hotel.
The Management of a Hotel in Weligama had invited a tourist couple to stay at their hotel, when they heard from the couple that they were asked to vacate their place of stay (which was a home stay), due to the shortage of finances they were experiencing because of the unexpected situation due to the pandemic.
However, the management of the hotel has shown true colours of humanity, by letting them stay there for free for almost 2 weeks and counting, with all the facilities being provided for them.
Tourists had released the following video in appreciation of the Sri Lankan hotel Brizo Weligama.
