Health Ministry says maximum 100 guests can attend weddings now but it should be less than 40% of the wedding halls seating capacity.
Small wedding halls can only invite guests with 40% seating capacity.
“Limit your guests as much as possible, in case if some one attended the wedding get infected it will be easy for us to find who he/she had contact easily in order to quarantine them” Health Deputy DG Dr. Lakshman Gamlath said in a statement.
Under the new guidelines there should be no more than 100 guests, all of whom must stay a metre apart and wear masks, including the happy couple.
– Hugging and Handshake must be discouraged
– All Guests should wear Face masks
– Non touch greetings
– Taking group photos discouraged
