Provincial borders will be opened only for employees of seven units of the essential services sector, health authorities announced today.
The Health Ministry today issued new health guidelines on COVID-19 which will be in effect until the 31st of August.
Following are the seven sectors of essential services which will be permitted to cross provincial borders:
- Health services
- Police and triforces
- State sector officials on essential official visits
- Distributors of essential supplies
- Providers of essential services — such as utility services
- For death of immediate family member (proof required)
- Transport of cargo and travel to/from country’s ports of entry/exit (proof required)
Essential service workers residing in isolated areas are strongly discouraged from physically reporting to work unless in exceptional circumstances.
