Crossing Provincial borders only allowed for seven sectors

Provincial borders will be opened only for employees of seven units of the essential services sector, health authorities announced today.

The Health Ministry today issued new health guidelines on COVID-19 which will be in effect until the 31st of August.

Following are the seven sectors of essential services which will be permitted to cross provincial borders:

  1. Health services
  2. Police and triforces
  3. State sector officials on essential official visits
  4. Distributors of essential supplies
  5. Providers of essential services — such as utility services
  6. For death of immediate family member (proof required)
  7. Transport of cargo and travel to/from country’s ports of entry/exit (proof required)

Essential service workers residing in isolated areas are strongly discouraged from physically reporting to work unless in exceptional circumstances.

All non-essential travel is not permitted from 10.00 pm to 4.00 aa daily (NewsWire)
