Police have decided to launch further investigation into the death of 16-year-old girl employed at Parliamentarian Rishad Bathiudeen’s residence in Colombo who died due to severe burn injuries.
The Police said the girl was employed as a domestic worker at the former Minister’s residence on Bauddhaloka Mawatha in Colombo 07.
She was reportedly admitted to the Colombo National Hospital with severe burn injuries on 3rd July but had died while receiving treatment yesterday.
