Director General of Health Services confirmed 05 deaths that occurred today (24 May) due to Covid-19 virus infection.
Apart from that, 28 more Covid – 19 deaths that occurred between 17th to 23rd May were also confirmed.
Accordingly, the total number of deaths due to Covid-19 infection in Sri Lanka is 1243 by now.
