The Sri Lankan Rupee has appreciated against the US Dollar at commercial banks in Sri Lanka today (Aug. 31) compared to Tuesday.
At Peoples Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have dropped from Rs. 315.56 to Rs.312.88 and from Rs. 330.38 to Rs. 327.58, respectively.
According to Commercial Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has reduced from Rs. 315.70 to Rs. 313.72, while the selling rate has dropped from Rs. 328 to Rs. 326.
At Sampath Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have dropped from Rs. 317 to Rs.314 and from Rs. 328 to Rs. 325, respectively. (NewsWire)
