The Sri Lankan Rupee has appreciated slightly against the US Dollar in commercial banks in Sri Lanka today (Feb 21), compared to Tuesday.
According to Peoples Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have dropped from Rs. 306.46 to Rs. 306.22 and from Rs. 317.14 to Rs. 316.89, respectively.
At Commercial Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has reduced from Rs. 306 to Rs. 305.76, while the selling rate has also dropped from Rs. 316 to Rs. 315.75.
Meanwhile, at Sampath Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have reduced from Rs. 307.50 to Rs. 307 and from Rs. 316.50 to Rs. 316, respectively. (NewsWire)
