The Sri Lankan Rupee has appreciated slightly against the US Dollar at commercial banks in Sri Lanka today (Jan 16), compared to last Friday.
At Peoples Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have dropped from Rs. 316.52 to Rs. 316.03 and from Rs. 327.55 to Rs. 327.05, respectively.
According to Commercial Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has increased from Rs. 315.54 to Rs. 315.91, while the selling rate has dropped from Rs. 326.50 to Rs. 326.
At Sampath Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have dropped from Rs. 318 to Rs. 317 and from Rs. 327 to Rs. 326, respectively. (NewsWire)
