The Ministry of Education has decided to revise the syllabus from Garde 1-13 and introduce a new school syllabus from 2021.
The Ministry said the new syllabus will be on par with international standards and will be launched on the instructions of subject Minister G.L.Peiris.
The new syllabus is to be drawn based on views and suggestions obtained from many professionals, including from the education sector, students, businessmen, and those from different grades in the technical field.
It will also be drafted to meet the requirements of Sri Lanka’s economy, job market, and other related areas.
The Ministry of Education hopes to introduce the new syllabus to schools by next year. (Newswire)
