The Sri Lankan Rupee has seen a drastic change against the US Dollar between the first working day of 2023, and January 01, 2024.
The buying rate of the US Dollar which was Rs. 360.40 on January 02, 2023, is at Rs. 319.23 on January 01, 2024.
The selling rate of the US Dollar which was Rs. 371.60 in January 2023 is at Rs. 328.77 today.
The Sri Lankan Rupees’ value against the US Dollar has seen a continuous drop since the economic crisis in 2022.
The government with the assistance of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka has since been taking several measures to stabilize the Rupee. (NewsWire)
