The Sri Lanka rupee has significantly depreciated against the US Dollar in comparison from January 2022 to December 2022.
According to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, the selling rate of the US Dollar was Rs. 202.99 on the first working day of 2022, which was 3rd January 2022.
However, on the last working day of 2022, which is today, the 30th December 2022, the selling rate of the US Dollar is Rs. 371. 60.
The rupee has also significantly depreciated against the other foreign currencies as well during the course of this year. (NewsWire)
