All ambulances will be permitted to travel toll free on expressways in Sri Lanka from today.
Minister of Highways Johnston Fernando said the decision has been taken in view of the current coronavirus situation in Sri Lanka.
He said ambulances will not be charged a toll fee to travel on expressways from today until further notice.
Earlier, according to regulations, only the vehicles of the President and Prime Minister were allowed to travel toll free on the expressways. (NewsWire)
