The Sri Lanka Postal Department digitalized the issuing of stamps for the first time in the history of the country yesterday.
The Department introduced a stamp valued at Rs. 25 along with a QR code at an event held at the Media Ministry.
The public can obtain information on the stamp, related news, and can access the Postal Department’s official website by scanning the QR code.
Meanwhile, the Postal Department also issued a new high value postal stamp with a new secret security feature yesterday.
