Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment has warned the general public to be cautious of the legality of any individual of institute before handing over passports or money for any potential foreign employment opportunities.
The bureau also reiterated that information regarding all approved foreign employment agencies and the job offers they currently have in hand has been updated on the SLBFE website.
Many complaints have been received regarding fraudulent activities where fake advertisements have been posted on employment opportunities in countries such as Romania, Israel, Japan and South Korea, the bureau further said.
