A new Cabinet of Ministers has been sworn in before President Gotabaya Rajapaksa.
According to sources, four ministers have been appointed thus far.
“As a temporary measure four ministers have been appointed until a permanent cabinet is appointed,” a senior Government source told NewsWire.
Following are the four ministers appointed temporarily.
- Ali Sabry was sworn in as the Minister of Finance
- Dinesh Gunawardena was sworn in as the Minister of Education
- Prof. G. L Peiris was sworn in as the Minister of Foreign Affairs
- Johnston Fernando was sworn in as the Minister of Highways
