Minister of Energy Kanchana Wijesekera has shared a document with the cost breakdown and pricing of Imported Petroleum Products by the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC).
As per the document, a loss of Rs. 31.88 per litre has been reported for Lanka Auto Diesel.
A profit of Rs. 77.35 has been reported per litre of Petrol 92, Rs. 187.43 per litre of Petrol 95, and Rs. 48.30 per litre of Lanka Super Diesel.
According to the Minister, the breakdown consists of the last 30 days’ average Platts prices, last 30 days’ average premiums paid, last 30 days’ average exchange rates, average transport costs, and full dealer margins. (NewsWire)
