Long queues have been reported at several fuel stations across the country in the new year day as well.
The queues have been seen, despite the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) Chairman assuring sufficient stocks of petrol.
Meanwhile, CPC said that two more vessels carrying 37,500 MT of Petrol & 40,000 MT of Diesel and 37,500 MT will arrive in the country today.
CPC said that the fuel distribution will begin soon after the vessels arrive. (NewsWire)
