A fight has been reported from a LP gas queue in Galle. The quarrel has ensued after a three wheeler obtained LP gas cylinders directly from the gas lorry, skipping the queue.
Police officers later intervened to calm the situation as people standing in the gas queue tried to grab the cylinders loaded in the three wheeler.
Following the outrage, the three wheeler unloaded the gas cylinders and left the area.
Similar fights have been reported earlier from fuel queues as well, where angry consumers waiting in long queues were seen behaving unruly, out of frustration. (NewsWire)
