GMOA proposes 3 suggestions to President on optimum management of Covid in Sri Lanka

The Government Medical Officers Association (GMOA) has provided suggestions to maintain the optimum management of the COVID-19 situation within Sri Lanka.

In a letter addressed to President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, the GMO has highlighted the following three key suggestions for this purpose.

1. Revisit admission criteria of COVID-19 PCR positive patients.

2. Initiate urgent actions to standardize and improve the quality assurance of PCR testing laboratories.

3. Revisit the criteria for quarantine process.
