Doctors in Mannar, Trincomalee, Nuwara Eliya, Ratnapura and Polonnaruwa Districts will go on a 24-hour token strike on Monday (20).
The Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA) said that strike will begin at 8:00 am on Monday against the appointment of doctors to hospitals without the approval of the transfer board.
GMOA has also written to President Gotabaya Rajapaksa explaining the issues faced due to the action of Health Secretary.
