The 2nd reading of the Appropriation Bill for the financial year 2022 was passed in Parliament today.
The Bill was introduced in Parliament by the Minister of Finance Basil Rajapaksa on the 07th of October.
The debate on the second reading of the budget was held for seven days from Saturday, November 13th until today, November 22nd.
The Bill was passed with 153 Votes in favour and 60 against.
