A group of individuals are reported to have forcefully entered and robbed a bus that was plying from Colombo to Embilipitiya.
The group is reported to have stopped the bus between Willaveediya and Pussellewa, and had thereafter threatened the driver and conductor to get off.
They had then attacked the bus with iron rods and had forcefully extorted money from the driver and passengers of the bus, before escaping.
