Dr. Jayaruwan Bandara has been removed from the post of spokesperson of the Ministry of Health, Hiru TV reports.
In October, Dr. Jayaruwan Bandara was removed from the post of Director of Medical Research Institute (MRI).
Later he was appointed as the spokesperson of Ministry of Health. In his new position Dr. Jayaruwan Bandara had a daily media briefing educating public about Covid-19 prevention program.
According to Hiru TV, he has been asked not to make any comments to media from today onwards. (NewsWire)
