Former MP Hirunika Premachandra has donated part of her hair to a program that make wigs for women cancer patients.
“Cancer it’s a scary, horrific and a sorrowful experience not only to the patient also to his/ her loved ones. Yes.. we can’t take away thier pain but atleast we can make them happy for a moment.
So I’ ve decided to donate my hair to a cancer patient, who will be in need of it more than me. I invite all you girls, if you are having a haircut don’t throw your hair away please donate it to the needful people. Thank you” She said in a Facebook post.
