Fourteen Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) MPs wield the 2/3 majority of the Government, former President Maithripala Sirisena reminded the Ruling party in Parliament today.
MP Sirisena lashed out at the ruling party today in response to the recent allegations levelled against him by Minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage.
Pointing out that he was being unfairly targetted, the former President further warned that he will hit back if he is attacked.
“I’ll hit back if I’m attacked, and they won’t know who or what hit them. Do you remember what happened when I was targeted in 2014?” Former President Maithripala Sirisena reminded the Government. (NewsWire)
