The International Monetary Fund ( IMF ) has provided update on its upcoming mission to Colombo.
An IMF team is schedule to visit Sri Lanka during the 20th to the 30th June, to continue discussion with Sri Lankan authorities to reach a staff level agreement.
IMF Sri Lanka team has said that it will continue discussions on an economic program that could be supported by an IMF lending arrangement, building on the progress made during the previous virtual mission between 9th May to 24th May.
It further reaffirmed its commitment to support Sri Lanka at this difficult time, in line with the IMF’s policies. (NewsWire)
