India has expressed hope over the early conclusion of the Economic and Technology Cooperation Agreement (ETCA) with Sri Lanka.
Newly appointed Indian High Commissioner to Sri Lanka, Santosh Jha said India hopes to enhance the economic partnership and enhance Sri Lanka’s export potential through the early conclusion of the ETCA.
“The Free Trade Agreement (FTA) has opened new export opportunities which now stand at more than US$ 1 billion,” he said.
High Commissioner Jha made the comments while addressing the India Republic Day event held in Colombo. (NewsWire)
