Islandwide Curfew will continue untill thursday 12th 7.00 am morning.
The Ministry of Defence has also ordered the Tri- forces to shoot at any persons involved in the theft of public property or causing harm to individuals.
Meanwhile, tense situations were reported in some parts of the country, in which at least three persons were injured in a shooting incident near the Rathgama Pradeshiya Sabah Chairman’s residence, while a clash was also reported in Negombo.
The incidents have resulted in the islandwide curfew that was imposed on Monday to be further extended until 07 am on Thursday (12).
