Journalists who had attended a press briefing at the Government Information Department on Tuesday (13) have been requested to self-isolate.
Issuing a statement, Director General of the Department Nalaka Kaluwewa said that it is suspected that a journalist who attended the media briefing may have contracted the coronavirus.
An investigation is currently underway to ascertain if the journalist had contracted the virus or not, he added. (NewsWire)
