The Ministry of Public Administration has declared Monday, the 13th of June 2022, as a special holiday for the state sector.
Issuing a circular, the Ministry said that the following day, Tuesday, the 14th of June is already a public holiday (Poya Day).
The Ministry said the issues pertaining to the public transportation system and the maintenance of office functions due to the current economic crisis were taken into consideration.
Thereby, based on these issues, the Ministry has decided to declare Monday, the 13th of June as a special holiday for government offices. (NewsWire)
