The National Building Research Organization (NBRO) has issued a landslide warning to several areas in the Nuwara Eliya and Ratnapura Districts due to the prevalent inclement weather.
A yellow alert has been issued to the Kotmale and Nuwara Eliya Divisional Secretariat Divisions (DSD) and surrounding areas.
An amber alert has also been issued to the Ambagamuwa Divisional Secretariat Division and surrounding areas in the Nuwara Eliya District.
Meanwhile, a yellow alert has been issued to the Kuruwita, Eheliyagoda, Elapatha, Ayagama, Kiriella, and Ratnapura Divisional Secretariat Divisions and surrounding areas in the Ratnapura District.
The National Building Research Organization said the landslide warning is effective until 09.00 pm today. (NewsWire)
