Legal action will be initiated in the future against those who participated in the rally that was organized by the Opposition Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) party in Colombo yesterday, Police Spokesman SSP Nihal Thalduwa said.
A rally and a protest march led by SJB leader MP Sajith Premadasa with the participation of fellow party members and hundreds of supporters of the party were held in Colombo last afternoon.
The protest march and rally were held by the Opposition SJB against the Government.
The protesters have been accused of violating the quarantine regulations and the revised guidelines issued earlier this month by the Director-General of Health Services.
Police spokesman SSP Nihal Thalduwa said that legal action will be initiated against those who had organized the mass rally. (NewsWire)
