Legends Cricket tournament to be played in Sri Lanka

A Legends Cricket Tournament will be played in Sri Lanka this year, featuring several Legendary retired cricketers from nearly eight countries.

The cricket tournament is scheduled to be played at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Kandy in March 2024.

The launch of the Legends Cricket Trophy will take place in Colombo, Sri Lanka on Thursday (Feb 15) during which the Player Draft for the tournament is also expected to get underway hosted by international cricket commentator Farveez Maharoof.

The prestigious trophy jersey will be unveiled for the very first time in Sri Lanka, alongside esteemed celebrity cricket legends at the event.

Nearly 90 legendary cricketers from eight countries are expected to participate in the cricket tournament, which will feature seven teams. (NewsWire)
