A high-risk severe lightning weather advisory has been issued for 15 districts for a period of 12 hours, commencing from 02 pm today.
The Department of Meteorology said thundershowers accompanied by severe lightning are expected in several areas of the country.
Thundershowers are likely in the North-Central, North-Western, Central, Western, and Sabaragamuwa Provinces.
The Department said thundershowers are also expected in the Trincomalee, Galle, and Matara districts. (NewsWire)
