The Election Commission has issued an Extraordinary Gazette appointing District Returning Officers & Assistant Returning Officers for the Local Government elections.
The Gazette was issued by the Election Commission yesterday night (Dec. 21).
Commissioner of the Elections Commission, Nimal Punchihewa and other 5 members of the commission has granted the approval for this. (NewsWire)
