A suspect wanted over the robbery of a motorcycle in the Dehiwala area and several bicycles has been apprehended.
The Police stated that 04 warrants had already been issued by the Mount Lavinia Magistrate’s Court against the 32-year-old suspect, a resident of Dehiwala.
The suspect had been arrested after investigations had been carried out into a motorcycle that was stolen in the Dehiwala area on 25th June 2023.
Interrogations led to the Police recovering the motorcycle and 11 other bicycles that had been stolen by the suspect from several other areas.
The Police stated that the suspect will be produced before the Mount Lavinia Magistrate’s Court today. (NewsWire)
