Former West Indies cricketer Marlon Samuels has hit back at Shane Warne after the legendary Australian spinner reacted to his distasteful comments and said he needs help.
After abusing Ben Stokes and Shane Warne over a comment from the English all-rounder, former West Indies cricketer Marlon Samuels has once again targeted the legendary Australian spinner. Samuels hit back at Warne on Wednesday after the Aussie great told him to ‘get help’. Warne had reacted on Twitter after Samuels posted expletive-laden posts on him and Stokes on his Instagram story.
The whole controversy erupted after a comment from Stokes on Samuels over quarantine in the current times of COVID-19. Stokes had said he would not wish a seven-day quarantine even on Samuels, who used to be his arch-rival on the field. While Stokes has taken a sly dig at Samuel over his abusive posts, Warne has simply slammed the ex-Windies cricketer on social media.
“ha ha I need help this coming from the first cricketer to do a face surgery to look young,” Samuels wrote in his Instagram story. He also added a disgusting hypothetical conversation between Warne and the doctors. “Doc, can I use the skin from my belly doc no warny mate we must use the skin from you’re a** batty face boy calm down,” Samuels added.
In another story, Samuels once again targeted Warne and wrote, “Your so great but yet still begging jobs in cricket. I am so ordinary but a great businessman lol my schoolmates still around that’s speaks volume bi***h lol.”
Earlier, Warne in his tweet had alleged Samuels has no friends and even his ex-teammates dislike him. The former Australian spinner had suggested the ex-Windies all-rounder seek help.
How did the feud start?
It all started after Stokes described his 14-day quarantine in New Zealand as ‘bad’ and ‘tough’ after he flew back home midway during the Test series between England and Pakistan earlier this year. Opening about the quarantine period on a BBC podcast, Stokes had revealed his brother asked him if he would want Samuels, with whom he had several clashes on the field, to undergo such 14-day isolation.
Stokes had responded by saying he would not wish quarantine even on Samuels. “I posted a few Instagram stories and some of the England boys were messaging me asking, ‘What it’s like?’ and I was saying, ‘It wasn’t the most enjoyable thing you ever have to do, I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy,” Stokes told BBC.
“I text my brother saying the same thing, and my brother asked, ‘You wouldn’t even do that to Marlon Samuels? I said, ‘No, it’s that bad’, — that’s how tough it was,” he had said further.
Samuels reacted to Stokes’ comments with a disgusting post on Instagram where he targeted him and his wife. ““No white boy could diss me in the sports and no get back diss look at this **** still thinking about me give me 14 days with you wife turn har into Jamaican in 14 seconds mate none of yall knows me that simply means it’s my ******* superior skin tone,” Samuels had written in his Instagram story.
