Matara Pradeshiya Sabha Chairman Wimal Priyajanaka who was arrested in connection to an alleged incident of arson has been granted bail.
The Police said Priyajanaka was arrested today along with his two relatives for allegedly setting fire to a house in Kekanadura.
The Matara Pradeshiya Sabha Chairman and his two relatives were accused of setting fire to the house on Monday night (14) over a long-standing personal dispute.
The suspects who were produced before the Matara Magistrate’s Court have been released on two sureties worth Rs. 1 million each. (NewsWire)
