A minor earth tremor reported around Hambanthota and Thanamalwila areas around 9.20 pm today.
Geological Survey & Mines Bureau says tremor measuring a magnitude 2.0 was reported in Hambantota.
No damages have been reported yet, according to the Disaster Management Center.
Earlier today, a tremor measuring magnitude 5.1 was reported in Bay of Bengal, 610 km from Jaffna.
Met department said there was no threat to Sri Lanka from that tremor. (NewsWire)
