President Gotabaya Rajapaksa today (13) appointed Prof. Kapila Perera as the new secretary for Ministry of Education.
Prof. Kapila Perera served as the vice chancellor at University of Moratuwa before taking up the new appointment.
Interestingly Prof. Kapila Perera also served as a national list candidate of Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna in 2015 General Election. (NewsWire)
