The Institute of Politics has recognized MPs Rohini Kavirathna and Premnath C Dolawatte as Parliamentarians for the year 2022.
MP Rohini Kavirathna was recognized as the female Parliamentarian of the year, while MP Dolawatte was recognized as the male Parliamentarian of 2022.
Meanwhile, former Opposition Leader R. Sampanthan was recognized for his efforts as a senior politician to protect democracy in Sri Lanka and was issued the gold award.
