The Chinese embassy in Colombo has denied media reports which said Chinese PCR machine in Mulleriayawa hospital has malfunctioned again.
“Chinese embassy learns that no technical fault on the PCR machine in the Colombo East Base Hospital. Operation affected due to shortage of testing reagents which were consumed fast in recent weeks. New order had been placed and will arrive in 3-4 days depending on international logistics” Chinese Embassy said in a tweet.
PCR tests carried out in Mulleriayawa hospital now be delayed due to this shortage. (NewsWire)
